Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (the shop owner) and Kistcare ("Kistcare", "we"). By creating an account or paying for a plan you accept them.

1. What Kistcare is

Kistcare is software for mobile retailers who sell phones on EMI. It lets you keep customers and EMI schedules, log payments, see what is due, and lock or unlock financed phones that have the Kistcare lock app installed.

Kistcare is a tool. We are not a lender, a finance company or a party to the sale between you and your customer.

2. Your account

You sign up with your mobile number and a one-time code. You are responsible for everything done through your account, so keep your phone and codes private and tell us at once if you think someone else has access.

You must give correct details and be at least 18 and authorised to run the shop.

3. Plans and fees

We offer monthly plans. The Starter plan allows up to 10 new customers each month; the Unlimited plan has no limit on new customers. Current prices are shown on our website and in the payment page before you pay. Prices may change for future payments with notice on the website.

Plans are paid in advance, on this website and never inside the app. Each payment covers one month from the payment date. Taxes, if applicable, are added as the law requires.

We use a payment partner to take payments. We do not see or store your card or UPI details.

4. When a plan ends

If you do not pay for the next month, you cannot add new customers. Everything for customers you already added keeps working: EMI schedules, late fees, payments, and lock and unlock.

The monthly new-customer count for the Starter plan starts again from zero each time a monthly payment goes through.

5. Locking and unlocking phones

Locking and unlocking is always your decision. Kistcare never locks a phone on its own.

You are responsible for having the customer's agreement to the lock feature, for following the law and your agreement with the customer, and for how and when you use it. We are not responsible for disputes between you and your customers.

Locking only works on Android phones that were set up with the Kistcare lock app. A phone can fail to lock or unlock if it is switched off, has no internet, or was tampered with. We cannot promise an instant result on every phone.

6. Your customers' data

You own the information you enter about your customers. You are responsible for having the right to collect it, for keeping it accurate, and for using it lawfully. You should tell your customers that their details, and the phone's location and status, are held in Kistcare.

Please read our Privacy Policy to see how we handle data.

7. What you must not do

Do not use Kistcare to break the law, to harass or threaten anyone, to lock a phone that is not part of a genuine EMI sale, to enter other people's data without permission, to interfere with the service, or to try to get into another shop's data.

We may suspend an account that does this.

8. Availability

We work to keep Kistcare running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update or improve it from time to time.

9. Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or losses caused by a phone not locking or unlocking, by your internet or phone, or by a customer's actions. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before it arose.

Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by not renewing. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where reasonable. You can ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy).

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using Kistcare after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in TODO: city have jurisdiction over any dispute, after you have first tried to settle it with us.
